I got an 800 on Math II (June)
I got a 750 on Math I (June)
I got a 680 on Physics (June - re-wrote it last week)
I wrote Literature also last week but it went terrible - so I registered for Literature again in Dec.

I'm applying EDI to Stern.

I plan to send both Math scores, both Physics scores and both Lit scores - though I know that the Lit i wrote last week will definitely score below 600 since I answered less than half the paper.

Would you recommend I cancel the Lit score from last week and just wait for my Dec Lit score to reach them? Or will they still give me the benefit of the doubt knowing that I am re-taking Lit in Dec?

I'm also sending my SAT score so it isn't as if there will be no english-related scores on the table.

If you’re applying EDI I’m pretty sure the admisisons decision will be made before you even take the test. If you did EDII they’d see em though.

I think it would be too late for the December score, since decisions go out around mid-December. If you want to send in your SAT II’s for ED, I believe you’ll have to not cancel the Lit one and send it, but if you are not so confident about it, you should consider sending your SAT I’s.

There are four different options for sending scores:

Option 1: Send the SAT I.
Option 2: Send one math/sci SAT II, one lit/humanities SAT II (history included), one SAT II of your choice.
Option 3: Send one math/sci AP, one lit/humanities AP (history included), one AP of your choice.
Option 4: Send the ACTs.

Bottom line - you have more options than just SAT I or SAT II!

They’ll never see that you chose to take it again. They only see scores of tests completed and sent to them. Besides, just because you decide to take it again is meaningless because no one can predict how well you will do. Sorry if I came off being harsh but it’s the truth.
