Basic question: Does Yale look at all your SAT II scores or just your best two?

The details (mrr): So far, I have 3 SAT II scores:
800 Math II
720 Chem
740 Spanish

I just took two more: Spanish with listening (which I felt I did really well on, like 750-790) and Physics (which I felt I completely crashed. I didn't prepare well, and also misbubbled at least 4 questions at the end. anywere from 600-730). Should I still send these two scores in, though one of them could be disastrous?

they nominally look at 2, but if you are positioning yourself as math/science then a really poor physics score may raise a red flag. If you are positioning yourself as a generalist or humanities, if you can't wait to find out how you did before sending, it's probably safe to send it in. Also, if one of your recs is from a physics teacher, a really low socre would be a problem, and invalidate the rec. So you need to look at the whole picture to decide.

Hmm, I've never thought about it that way before, Ailey! Thanks!

Well, today's the last day I can send scores in and make the EA deadline, so I think I'm just going to do it. crosses fingers My rec is from an chem teacher, and I'm leaning toward an econ major...so I suppose I'm skating on thin ice. But I shall worry no more over it~

Ironically, I'm now going to go do some Physics homework...xDDD

Yes. >_< And I liked my Spanish test, so I'd rather not cancel both.

It should work out okay if I retake a second time, and send in a better score later? They might give me the benefit of the doubt and understand that was not my best performance the first time...?

edit: and I'm not sure if my previous 3 scores will suffice...

We happened to be supervised by a guidance counselor when I took the last SAT Subject tests. He told us it's not a good idea to cancel our scores if we take more than one. We should better leave them as they are and if something wrong happened to us during a test, let the colleges knmow that. Maybe you need this advice.
