SAT II's with stanford

ok so I know they suggest taking 2 SAT II's but they don't require it... and i don't get what that entails.

So does this mean ppl are still excepted if they haven't taken any?
Do you guys know of yourselves or others who got in who didn't take the SAT subject tests?

I am only asking because i applied through questbridge and I didn't submit any sat IIs as I just started my senior year and haven't even considered taking them yet....

hmmm.... I was wondering about that as well.
I hope someone who knows more about stanford can answer that question

I'm sure there are some students accepted to Stanford who don't submit SAT II scores as part of their application, but I suspect many of those are students from ACT-predominant states who are outstanding athletes. Everything I have read on College Confidential suggests that it is a REALLY GOOD IDEA to submit SAT II scores to Stanford, even though those are only "recommend" and not "required."

If you had 2400 on SAT I, and no time to take SAT II, you could get away not taking them. In your case, you really need to take them.

take it~
i recommend Math IIC, Physics, and U.S. History (and maybe a foreign language). Those are the easy ones in my opinion. Chem was okay too.
