SAT II's without SAT I

<p>Can you just take the subject tests without taking SAT I? </p>

<p>Do colleges want both if you plan on taking SAT II's or can I just use my ACT score with the SAT II's rather than the SAT I?</p>

<p>Taking ACTs plus the SAT Subjects are fine. Can’t recall if there’s any college that won’t accept that, but the vast majority will.</p>

<p>All that require SAT IIs accept ACT and the IIs except that a number of those that usually require IIs will take the ACT in lieu of both the SAT and SAT IIs meaning you do not even have to submit IIs if you submit ACT; some that do so: Yale, Brown, Penn, Amherst, Boston College, Boston U, Tufts, Pomona, Wesleyan.</p>
