Hi, I just got my SAT II scores back, and I'm pretty satisfied with them. I received an 800 in Chemistry, a 790 in Biology, and a 710 in Math Level 2. I was wondering since only two subject tests are required for CAS, if I should just leave the Math Level 2 score out when I report my scores to Cornell, since it was the lowest and Biology and Chemistry are the two subjects I am considering majoring in? (leaning heavily towards chem)

Also, how important are subject tests to one's overall application? Thanks.

Cornell doesn’t do score choice, so you actually have to show them all of your scores. The 710 won’t kill you, anyway. I mean it won’t really help, but the very good scores on the other tests will probably overshadow the math score so you have nothing to worry about.

You do have to report all of them but I am pretty sure they look more at the highest ones. Either way a 710 will not kill you it is still a good score.

Based on my application, I don’t think subject tests are that important. I did terrible on them but was still accepted :)
