SAT II's

Will SAT II scores for Math II, Physics, and Chemistry satisfy requirements?

yes they ask for any three

If you are going for a BSE that'll do fine in your case. Just score well on them, that's the only catch...

What if I'm not?

Well, then that is an odd choice for SATIIs but it should't hurt you. They only recommend that you take some Math and Science SATIIs if you are going for BSE. There is no "recommended" SATIIs for the A.B. It just would seem odd, but I highly doubt it would have any influence on your app. Alot of people who plan on the A.B. probably take a similar set of SATIIs like you.

jacqesier, why is it odd?

Btw guys is Math IC frowned upon? thats my highest SAT II score (750) as of now. I mentioned my first choice as Econ as a major, and second as Physics, so does intended major affect how adcoms look at the subject taken?

Thanks jacquesier, that's what I was looking for.

i have the same SAT II subjects. applied BSE

ALWAYSFAITHFUL,

I only said odd, because he took all science and math oriented sat2s and wasn't going for a BSE, but I don't think it will hurt him... just out of the ordinary... alot of people, outside of the mathsat2 i would think take the others in courses they intend to major in.. unless they want to place out of certain courses in college. maybe that is what he is intending. maybe that is how it will be interpreted... that i'm not sure of, just trying to offer some advice.

I took both math test and scored well and I plan to take the physics test. Do I need to take another test because two of mine are math?

I highly doubt it. But I'm not certain so best to check with other people.

laxmuley, I'm not entirely sure, but I think you do need another one.
