It's unclear to me from the GWU website-- how many SAT IIs are required to be considered for application?

Thanks ~M

im pretty sure none are required...i applied and didnt submit any

none are required, but the collegeboard website indicates gw admissions says they are 'recommended.' I applied with 2 SAT IIs and got in (700 US History and 690 Math IIC), but I know others who have been accepted with none. However, for all of the special programs, SAT IIs are required (their website should list specifics).

Logically, though, the purpose of an SAT II is to highlight your abilities in a specific area of academia...AP exams serve the exact same purpose (and are most certainly more vaild exams). Hence, if you have a great deal of APs (and list GW as the score recipient) those should suffice (but it certainly wouldn't hurt to have the SAT IIs as extra padding).
