Does Wisc require or consider SAT II results? We are trying to figure out if its worthwhile for daughter to take these tests. She has already done SAT and will take ACT so we don't wont to unnecessarily add to her burden. Can't find any reference on the admission pages of website.

Item C8. Checked is SAT2s are ‘not used.’ Some schools do ‘consider if submitted’ but seems like UW is not one of them.

On the other hand, are you sure she won’t apply somewhere where she WILL need them? It is easier to take them now than to fit them in senior year. We know from experience, didn’t plan to apply anywhere that required them and…plans changed.

so far none of the schools she has identified has required them but we understand things can change. But with SAT IIs, AP tests, and ACTS all within a short time period, it might be too much to cram in now.

The best time to take an SAT subject test is when the material is freshest, ie close to the end of the related course versus months later. You might want to check if any potential scholarship applications use them.
