Does Northwestern require SAT sunject tests?

I dont know about sunject tests, but subject tests are optional :)

haha, sorry! I meant subject! Thanks

Though subject tests are optional, you should try and take them because higher scores on subject tests usually make up for lower ones on the reasoning tests.

and vice versa, right??? i have higher SAT1 scores than subject tests..

I'm not too sure batman. I had lower SAT I's but higher SAT IIs. I presume it only works this way bcause the II's show a higher understanding in a subject area. But I can't be quoted on that.

Some programs, like ISP, require subject tests.

If you have high SAT reasoning scores should you even bother with the subject tests?

I didn't take SAT II's at all, and I was admitted. I had a 1460/2180 for SATI.

It's up to you really. If you think you will do well, take them as good scores will give you an advantage in a tiebreaker or other such situation.

If you don't think you will do well, don't take them as it might hurt you a bit.

thanks for the advice!
