SAT II's

I know you need 3 SAT IIs when applying to MIT. So far, I've taken Chemistry, Math Ic, Math 2c, and gotten 3 800's. Even though MIT's policy does not forbid me from using two math SAT II's to fulfill the requirements, I know it looks kind of bland. I guess I could take Physics, but I probably won't get a perfect in that. So two questions:
1. I won't be penalized for my selection of tests, correct?
2. What would look better to the admissions committe to put down on my application, A or B?:
A: Chemistry: 800, Math 2c: 800, Math 1c: 800
B: Chemistry: 800, Math 2c: 800, Physics: 750

Thanks for all the help!

I'd go for B. 750 is a perfect score.
That said, you probably know that scores are nothing.

The admissions committee at MIT considers everything 750+ to be qualified. Plus, putting down both math test scores on your app would be lame, imo.

Don't be so sure you won't get an 800 in physics. It's an easy test with a nice curve.

You no longer need 3 SAT IIs, you need 2: one Math and one Science.

For entry year 2007 and beyond: SAT I or the ACT with the writing test. In addition, we require two SAT II Subject Tests: one in math (level 1 (Ic) or 2 (IIc)), one in science (physics, chemistry, or biology e/m).

Don't worry about it, you're already more than fine on that score. (And for the record, in the previous year when a third test "of your choice" was required, the Admissions staff specifically stated, over and over again, that one science and two math were JUST FINE.)

also just to note that it doesn't hurt to take more SAT2's than the required ones that you wish. some are easy and nice to add =]

Yah. Just put down Math and Chem. Writing is your third (losers).
