For the people that got accepted into AU congrats!
but i was wondering how many of you took SAT II’s, and if you have which ones, and how many? thanks

even though it's not required [i believe]
i took ushist, math i, lit,

I would really focus on GPA and SAT I. I think thats the formula that AU looks at for scholarships and decisions.

i didn't even take SAT 2s.... i got in (last year) np....

focus more on gpa/ SAT 1

What if i took the SAT IIs (for something else) and did really bad?

idk...i mean can u choose not 2 send them if u did "really" badly? i'm really not sure about that... but again i'm not an admissions officer, i don't know how much SAT ii are weighed. I'd call the school if u want ofrficial answers

nah you cant cancel collegeboard stuff. That is unless you just take the ACT and dont send them a score report from collegeboard.

My SAT II scores were:

Literature: 550
History: 520

I am definitely NOT an SAT taker at all. It was all on my overall application -- essays, GPA, extra cirriculars, etc.

thanks for the answers its given me a better idea i think

I know for a fact that AU does not pay attention to SAT 2/AP/IB scores because my friend asked someone in the admissions office how they do it. It basically consists of a chart with 2 overwhelming factors: recalculated GPA and SAT I scores. It is not that hard to get into AU, their acceptance rate for a private is very high.
