<p>The colleges could save us a lot of money by simply deciding to allow applicants to submit AP scores in lieu of SAT Subject Tests, at least for certain subjects where the tests cover much of the same material. U.S. History is perhaps the best example of sheer test-taking redundance that could easily be eliminated.</p>
