SAT II's

Is it considered an advantage to submit 3 rather than 2 SAT II scores?

Probably not

hahha, what about 4?

Maybe it'd seem like you're trying to show off D:

I'm taking Chem, math II and Spanish on saturday, but I may just drop spanish if I get nothing out of it?

you don't get to choose how many you submit. and I think you can't even choose if you want to submit just the sat I or sat II scores. so if you take 4 they will see 4 but "consider" the top two. I don't really know if they take into account a student that takes like 5 subject tests and scores an 800 on all of them but I'm guessing it would have an effect.

Have you looked at the policies of the other schools you are considering? Some schools require 3.

Also, like addy said. They'll take into consideration your top 2 scores so if you take 3, you just get another chance to get that high 700 some or whatever else you are shooting for. (Also, if you do well on the SAT II Spanish, you can get out of the foreign language requirement)

I know I'd do well on Spanish... I spoke it for 7 years =P

And I guess it wouldn't do harm, if Penn rejects me then I can still be safe applying to schools that do require3

Is it true that top schools count your SAT writing as your third SAT II? If I take 3 SAT II Subject Tests will they consider these over my writing score, if theyre all higher, or will they take writing no matter what and then 2 SAT IIs??

no that's not true

COuld you elaborate...here are my scores on SAT I and projections for SAT II
670 CR and W 750 M.......SAt: 740, 700, 730.....what would be used for the academic index calculator --- obviously CR and M but then would my 740, 730 and then 670 writing be used as the three scores or would writing be dropped for my 700???

I was also wondering, how would it look to Wharton if someone with hooks got like a low 700 on his Math II SAT II?

FMHS1:
Penn weights the Writing portion equal to Critical Reading and Math (<a href="http://www.kaptest.com/Kaplan/Article/College/SAT/Learn-About-the-SAT/CO_sat_surveyresults.html;jsessionid=FCEWCVZ44TXKBLA3AQJXBM3MDUCBE2HC)%5B/url%5D">http://www.kaptest.com/Kaplan/Article/College/SAT/Learn-About-the-SAT/CO_sat_surveyresults.html;jsessionid=FCEWCVZ44TXKBLA3AQJXBM3MDUCBE2HC)</a>, so yes, you would need to factor it into Academix Index (<a href="http://63.135.109.195/hernandez/ai_calculator.cfm)%5B/url%5D">http://63.135.109.195/hernandez/ai_calculator.cfm)</a>.</p>

Eloquence:
It'd probably be okay if you were a very strong candidate otherwise. If you check this year's results threads, I'm sure you'll see some Wharton acceptees' low-700 scores for Math Level 2.
