I've taken Math IIC (760) and US History (660).

I plan on taking Literature in the fall, but I was wondering if I should one or two more. I keep seeing more and more people with more and more SAT IIs, and I'm wondering if I shouldn't join in with the SAT II madness.

Also, should I retake US History? 660 is a pretty bad score for me, and I actually did well in the AP class...

well, if you feel you can handle the length of test time without sacrificing scores, it can't hurt to take 3 tests, as you'll have a wider range of choice to send which tests to which schools.

I took the AP US History self-study and the SAT II in it. I got a 4 and 740, which isn't so bad I think coming from a Regents-level US History class (those in NY know what I'm talking about, Regents-level is nowhere near the SAT II/AP level).

For the SAT II, I bought Kaplan and the 5 more practice tests from Sparknotes, which helped TREMENDOUSLY. I think Kaplan has the best US History SAT II review book out there.

Literature is a bit iffy. You can do either tremendously well or just get another 600s grade. I myself did Barrons' and got a 660, but I self-studied AP Eng Lit during my junior year and got a 5. I can honestly say the SAT II Lit MC is MUCH harder than AP, so beware!

-What SAT IIs do you suggest taking?
I took AP physics B (independent study) this year but bombed the AP (and cancelled my score promptly afterwards)...

do you think a physics SAT2 would be better than trying the SAT2 Lit?

also, I posted this somewhere else I think, but I was thinking of self-studying Spanish this summer for the SAT2. I had 3 years of honors spanish through soph year, but then stopped. Will it be impossible/insanely hard?

SAT II Spanish is hard. All SAT IIs should be like "AP US History without the essays" or something, because sometimes, that's how hard they are.

SAT II Physics should be better and easier to prepare for. There's no way you can prepare for Lit.
