SAT II's

some colleges dont require SAT II’s but “reccomend” them. If you dont have SAT II’s, but you have an overall strong application regardless…will it really matter??

if a college only recommends SAT II's, then they usually don't hold it against you if you don't have them.

would they consider it the same as a kid at a public school without access to AP courses?

they won't completely hold it against you, but i recommend taking them. SAT IIs are a really strong supplement, and show that you've been keeping up with a school's requirements... like you've been doing your research early. SAT IIs are offered the next SAT date in September or October; if you send your scores directly to the schools you're applying to, then you should be fine.

plus, they may use them for placement purposes if you're admitted. and if they say SAT II's are optional, you don't have to release them if you don't do so well.

but it really wont matter right
