^^
I took practice tests before the 650. I guess something about CR just all of a sudden clicked into my mind and things just started to make sense. It was quite spontaneous. I can’t describe it.

tofuisgood4u - I got a 176 on my sophmore PSAT which is roughly a 1760 on the actual SAT, which is for me a 2240 now (or a 224 on the PSAT scale)

I jumped 90 points to a 2290 by sitting on my ass.

ok, maybe AP studying had something to do with it

Went from 610 to 770 M, just doing lots and lots of CB tests and figuring out their and my patterns.

720 –> 800 Math… the 720 was kind of an anomaly though.

I went up 80 points in my math and writing in 1 month. I want to get somewhere in the 600’s in my math so that is my goal for October. =D (tutor).

178 PSAT (Sophomore) –> 2000 SAT (Junior) with a little bit of prep, but nothing serious.

Retaking the SAT 2 more times! (EDIT: This time with serious prep)

soph psat=142
junior psat=171
junior SAT=2150

I need another 100 points :/

My friend went from ≈1700 to 2380 with some damn intense preparation.
And another from ≈1600 to 2240 with prep.

I just took the SAT (sophomore) this June just to get a feel for it and got a 1870. Hoping to prep for a 2200+ over the summer for Oct./Nov.

What did you do to prepare? I have taken it once and was expecting at least a 2100 because of my pSAT score which I didnt study for and my score on the sat was a only 1700. Any tips for improvement because I take it again in a week.

to start off I go to a terrible high school wit awful education and the average sat score is a1280
first time I took the sat I was nervous and honestly don’t know what went wrong
