SAT improvement

Since school is finished and i did not score as high as i wanted to on the SAT (1700) what are some ways that i can improve my score?

I am looking into purchasing grammatix? Though grammatix is skeptical is it also good in math? (i know that it is fairly helpful in CR)

I have the blue book, princeton review math and sat book. Also what is the best way to improve my scores. My writing is 600 as is my reading and my math is around the 500 range though it fluctuates. I hope to get atleast a 2000+.

Thanks for any help.

grammatix isnt so good in math but its good in CR and writing

practice from blue book... and review your mistakes (get use to how the ETS thinks)..if possible

Are you serious? No way you will get above 2000 with those books. You need the hardcore stuff like Barron's SAT, Barron's Math, Barron's Critical Reading, Barron's Writing, and Prinction Reviews Smart Reading. Ohh yeah, add Barron's 2400 (if you want to get that score).

Good Luck!

Thanks for the replies.

So buy purchasing grammatix it will help in CR and Writing, and acoording to the.j.shi for 2000+ i will look into the barrons series.

Any remarks on the barron books? Are they harder material than the test or is it really good in practice and teaching the basics (math).

Thanks again for the replies.

Barron's will help, but all you need to score a 2000+ is the blue book. Since it is "The Official SAT Study Guide:For the New SAT" and I read many people on here that got a 2000+ just using the blue book.

yea though it may not seem that i have not been on this forums for a while i actually have been viewing them before i registered. Everyone does say they get good scores from just the blue book.

But how? I have done the review from the sections and plan to do the 8 tests: first 2 tests open book right? and last 6 timed? while checking all answers and explanations of why i got them wrong.

Is this the only way to use the blue book in order to score high?

feel like I have a little bit of authority on the topic of the SAT. Personally screw grammatix. It sucks. The advice is bad and only serves to distract you. "never guess no matter what" rocket review sucks too "always guess no matter what".

Use only pure clean real SAT books. THe college board blue book. Thats it.

hmm gramattix is pretty controversial. In my scenario would you think it would help me?
