SAT in May and SAT 2 (math 2&physics)in June? Or the reverse?

The June SAT date is the saturday before finals, so i'd figure I would be better at the SAT 2 subject material BUT heres the vital part... I'm in PreCalc H and we will have finished all the material that's in the SAT 2 by like... mid february (then we start calc AB), so I'll have to practice the older material a lot while learning new material. But I'll have learned all the Physics material in my PhysH class by June, so that's a bonus.

On the other hand, If i take the SAT 1 in June and the SAT 2s in May I'll have more practice time to become better at the SAT! The bad part is that I would have to spend a little extra time to learn more Physics than the curriculum has already taught. The good part is that the Math 2 material will be fresher in my head than it would be in June.

Suggestions??

Take it as soon as you have it fresh in your mind. SAT 1 is more important than SAT 2. Can you take SAT 1 in March?

Yeah but I see no reason why I should do that.

SAT May+SAT II June is better. First, math isn’t something you forget in 3.5 months, unless you were just memorizing everything. Second, you do practice a lot of precalc when taking calc, especially for those more advanced/annoying questions. Finally, teaching yourself physics isn’t the easiest of tasks, especially when you have a heavy workload. This, of course, is just my opinion.

All the tricks and strategies you learn for the SAT still aplly for the Sunject Test. Every topic on the SAT is on the subject test. Therefore you should begin preparing for the May SAT. After you take your SAT in the beginning of May you can use the month of May to prepare for the Subject Test which you will take in June. One month of prep is all you need for the subject test because you will already have learned all the strategies, and will have practiced plenty of problems already. You will just need to practice applying the strategies to the remaining topics.

So SAT in May, Subject test in June.

Take the SAT I first and then the SATII.
