Hey everyone,

I took my first sat this past may as a junior in highschool and I recieved my in-depth score report in the mail today.
My score is an 1840 which is not bad. However as I was looking over the scores i noticed that the score report stated that I omitted 13 of 25 questions in one of the critical reading sections!
Unless the pages on my test were stuck together there is no way I omitted that many questions in one section!!! And even if that were the case I surely would have noticed all the empty bubbles on my anwer sheet.

After seeing this score report I suspect that my score is inaccurate. Is there anyway for me to view my answer sheet whether it be online or through the mail? Or might there be a way for me to request a rescoring?

Any feedback or info on this subject is greatly appreciated

Thankss

Yes, you can pay to get score review. But I doubt that you will get a better score.

What was your CR score? Is it in line with 13 omits plus number wrong? It’s possible that your bubbles weren’t dark enough. You can pay money to have a hand scoring done. I think it’s around fifty dollars.

reading: 570
math: 620
writing: 650

I think it’s worth investigating, especially if you are certain that you did not, indeed, skip 13 in one section. I would think that you would remember all those empty spaces on your answer sheet, as you said. I asked what your score was to rule out a glitch on the score report. A 570 is somewhere in the neighborhood of raw score=42. You can run those numbers without divulging to all of CC what your breakdown was.

I wonder if they would refund the fee for the hand scoring if they actually did make a mistake.

It is scary to think that these things could happen.
