SAT International December

@FaithElamin‌ I’m from Canada and yes that was my 2nd time. I got a 2130 in June

The CR curve had to have been insane, but whatever. I’m already in EA!

I’m still kind of pissed about my CR score since it was my lowest by far and I scored perfect on the lit subject test (which is significantly harder). My essay was marked pretty harshly this time too. I scored a 9-- i’ve never gotten lower than 10 before and this was by far my longest essay. Before, I only wrote with 2 examples but this time I tried 3. Ridiculous.

I had to re-login to the CB account a couple of times to confirm that the scores I got were mine. It just didn’t sink in. I mean I took around 40-50 Practice tests for my first SAT in December, and my CR average in the P. tests was about 720-730. And I got a 530 on the real test. Yes, a 530!!! I was dumbstruck. I wonder whether I will be able to take that score to a 730 in the Jan test.

@Brazuca96‌ where did you even find 40 practice tests? :O

10 form the blue book
atleast 30 past ones
Kaplan 12 practise tests
Kaplan 4 practise tests
Princeton review 8 practise tests
Online tests 5
And many many other prep books

You could get 100 without rly trying hard

@Brazuca96‌ I’m convinced this test’s curve was crazy. I have taken the SAT a total of 4 times and this time my scores were the worst by far. What a let down.

@WooTheDay‌ You see to be pretty pissed off. How high were your scores?

Can you tell? >.> I scored 2100 this December, but I’ve consistently been in the 2300s (October, June) and 2200s (Last January). My CR score was especially low on this test.

@WooTheDay‌

Be thankful. The only time I get a grip on the SAT, I was hit by this test. I was scoring 2100s and 2150s consistently on practice tests but I got a 1970 on this one.

I’m also a senior

Was this test rly hard? I mean I used to consitently score around 2060 with like
CR:650 W:740 M: 700
But i got a 1870 here, I GOT W:610 m:690 w:570

I was a stil lam pretty pissed, I knew I messed up the critical reading but I thought I would do good on W and M but I failed them too :pensive: So was this test specifically hard? I mean i didnt even understand the CR questions.

Everyone seems to have HATED the Bijah bit, even in the US March thread. I personally didn’t think it was any harder or easier than the average passage… I got exactly 730 for CR in almost all the practice tests I did leading up to it and got 730 for the actual test as well.

@Sharecentury
my score was lower 110 points this time … I know this ******* feeling bro.

It was my first time really screwed up the test. Maths 660, CR 500, Writing 540

I screwed up too I got 1890 :confused: 550 reading, 590 writing essay 8, 750 math.

my score got lower too =(( i dont know what i have done wrong to just get 690 in M. i got really depressed when i received the score…

Guys is ur last score parallel to the range?

@WooTheDay‌
So that means I’m not the only one who suffered.
I got a 750 in the Writing section, so I’m just focusing on CR now. Do you think it’s possible to take the CR score from 530 to somewhere like 700-730? Because this test was an anomaly… :(

When did you guys get your result? My friends who gave SAT this december in PAkistan haven’t received their scores yet .

@Brazuca96‌ I improved from a 520 to a 610 in critical reading using BlackBook for the SAT the night before and I didn’t study an vocabulary. Look into it. Not where you want to be but keep in mind I didn’t finish the CR section and didn’t practice much. GOOD LUCK. I’m also on the path of raising that score above a 700.
