SAT is driving me crazy.

<p>I have recently found this site and have seen the people here receive incredible scores on the SAT exam. I on the other hand have been struggling in reaching my goal of a 1800 lol. I have taken the SAT twice and my best scores have been Math - 590 CR - 540 and Writing 510 with a essay of 8. I am taking the test again this may, so does anyone have any advice for me? I am studying using the barrons book, but CR is still extremely hard for me.. Any advice?</p>

<p>I would suggest using the blue CB book for studying. Direct hits for vocabulary on the CR section and silverturtle’s guide for writing (and a general overview of the SAT). There are many threads on this forum concerning the various facets of the SAT, I suggest you utilize them. </p>

<p>If you don’t feel ready for May take it in June. Also if you’re a junior, you may want to take some subject tests (more info on that on the SAT subject tests forum). </p>
