SAT, Is it worth a retake?

I recently recieved my scores from the April SAT, and they are as follows:
Critical Reading: 750
Math: 680
Writing: 770

Now, I'm interested in some Highly competetive colleges (Mainly Top Northeast LACs) and am wondering if it would be worth retaking and possibly raising my score.
I know that best scores in each category get combined across multiple tests, but if Colleges get to see your scores for every test does this matter?

I probably would take it again if you are willing to put in the effort.

No reason not to boost that Math score if you have only taken the SATs one time.

Although 2200 is a very high score; I think that if he gets rejected, it'll be for other reasons.

thats a great score! i would have been so happy with that score.

it doesnt really matter with the scores that colleges can see. they are only concerned with your best composite score (this is what they get to report as their sat for admitted students, the higher the more competitive they look).

i don't think it would hurt you either way to take or not take the SAT again. ive learned that college admissions are so competitive but really random as well. theres always room for improvement but seriously your scores are good. i think LACs look more at other things in your app than the SAT (unlike some state schools and bigger private schools) anyway.
