How was your test everyone? I found it pretty hard. Much harder than the previous ones. Math was very tricks. Writing had a lot of very easy questions but a few very very hard idiomatic questions. Reading was Medium..

CAUTION: The embargo hasn't been lifted, so do not post any specific questions or answers. This post will be edited once it is lifted :)

I am not sure. I was so stressed that I probably made it out to be harder than it was =/
I thought the writing section was fairly easy, but the CR killed me. Ugh. Math was medium: it was okay, but I might have made a few careless mistakes.

Which section was the hardest for you guys? And how did you find the vocab?

I thought the essay topic was…different. I only managed to come up with two solid examples in time…oh well. Ive seen example essays on collegeboard that have gotten 6 with expounding on only 1 example the whole essay…

Math and writing were decent, cr was…blah

Which of the sections did you guys have as experimental?

The essay topic was definitely…something. I came up with two examples - one from history, one from the present + one personal. But I am not sure all of them were VERY appropriate.

I agree, CR was definitely blah. Especially because I had 4 CR sections >_<

I had so many good examples for the essay, but unfortunately, I ran out of time on my third body. Math was fairly easy, only had trouble with two questions. Writing also wasn’t too hard, nor was reading. Really hoping for a good score this time.

I also took the test today! I think the vocab questions went fairly well, but the passages were kinda long. I’m not too sure about math because if I made any errors then they were careless errors and I don’t know about them. Writing was kinda tough, not sure how it went. Hope I get a higher score than last time :D

where are you guys all from and where are you going?

i thought the cr section was pretty easy, except for one really boring and hard passage

maths was okay… though some questions took longer than usual.

writing was… okayish as well. I didn’t really like my essay topic, and I used three examples, one which wasn’t exactly relevant but the other two were alright. I nearly ran out of space, but I had around 7 minutes left so I wrote smaller and slower.

oh and i had cr experimental.

overall, it was okay, but as always, could’ve done better :)

Im from Heidelberg, Germany. I’m currently enrolled at University of Maryland University College. I’m taking SATs again because I plan on applying to the University of Heidelberg Medical School, and as a rule, they say that with a high school diploma you need a 1300 in sections Math and Reading. I got a 1260 last time lol. Lets hope I got it this time.

Has the embargo been lifted?
I just found out the exact month and year of the test we (internationals) did.
Can I say or will it be against the rules?

hey sorawinter! I’m from Germany as well! But I’m doing my Abitur this year and I have applied to some colleges in America. I’m sure you made these 40 points this time!

I had the math experimental, which is quite good, because math is rather relaxing for me compared with CR.

about the essay, I thought the topic was weird, and I’m not entirely sure whether my thesis answered the question, but I hope it did!

Nice Arcanis! Mhmm I was going to do my Abitur, but then my parents put me in the american school system lol. :] Where do you plan on applying? and Thanks!
