SAT Japanese help!!!

I'm taking the Japanese test on November 1st. However, I didn't find any book or any study guide that would help me except for the official book (which provide only one practice test). Can anyone who have taken the Japanese test help me?

What do you recommend I should study? I have reviewed some of the "Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 4". Is the context in the test similar to that in the SAT?

In the test, do we pace ourselves on how much time we would spend on each section, or is it limited to for example listening: 20 minutes and so on. (If we can pace ourselves, does it mean we can replay each listening question if we didn't get it at the first time?)

Are there any advice anyone can give me?

Thank you very much, I'm freaking out here.

I don't know how you should prepare for this test. In fact, I think it is one of the harder tests to prepare for, precisely because there is not a review book or study guide available. My daughter will be taking the test, just not this year. Our strategy for her will be 1) have her take as much Japanese as possible before she takes the test, 2) learn the kanji list provided by the College Board for the AP exam (<a href="http://apcentral.collegeboard.com/apc/public/repository/ap08_japanese_coursedesc.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://apcentral.collegeboard.com/apc/public/repository/ap08_japanese_coursedesc.pdf</a>), and 3) study with JLPT materials. I think the JLPT 4 might be too basic. My daughter is using a Level 3 text this year, and will move on to a Level 2 text once she is done. If you do find a good way to prepare--post again. We'd like to hear about it.
