sat literature from 12/3 (today)?

anybody take it? I'm interested in what people had problems with

I am wondering this as well. Do the Lit threads on here usually not generate many responses/answer key?

I thought the test was a bit tough. It was my first take and I kinda took it on a whim as a senior (I don’t need it). I’m pretty good at English MC but some poems on there were O_O I Uh what was the answer for the lithograph one?

HOLY CRAP … i can do well on Reading passage comprehension, but that was like the hardest thing ever

Ya the last section .___. Really collegeboard??

I was running out of time so I couldn’t really focus on the last 5 questions -_- and I skipped 2 damn

SERIOUSLY. Well I don’t have any previous SAT Lit experience but… I might cancel this …

Did anyone get a lot of Es in a row…?

@AforAmbition - Yes, I got a lot of E’s in a row, did you have a lot of C’s in a row as well? That was bad…

I thought the last section was the easiest.

Eeeks… I don’t remember a lot of E’s in a row. Does anybody recall the question from the Moby Dick excerpt about what/who Melville was using the ship as a metaphor for? I couldn’t get that one :(

I don’t recall that one… was it Bulkington and the ship?

What was the one for the astrology one about how the speaker argues against critics?

the astrology one is Sonnet 26 of Astrophel and Stella

I meant what’s the answer for the question about how he refutes critics? But thanks :p

answer to how the farmer father viewed ericson was disdain right?

for how the poet argued against critics I put he viewed the heavens by disregarding logic/appreciating beauty

Something like that

I had a lot of e’s in a row too, that makes me feel better  I was surprised by how difficult the test was! I usually do really well in lit so I just went in with no practice whatsoever. Huge mistake on my part.

Does anyone know what the curve is like?

I’m curious about the lithograph question too.

:/ That’s not what I put for the astro critics one D:

Sigh, this test had so many questions with ambiguous answers :frowning: Usually I’m able to narrow all questions down to two options (if not one obvious choice) but during this test, I was sometimes staring down 4 options and just completely lost…

I didn’t say that either. I picked E which was something along the lines of, “personal, rather than already established formulas.”

I got that too!! Anyone else remember any difficult questions? I need to refresh my memory… seems to be vanishing by the minute :(!

On the Bulkington and the ship passage there was a question that asked about weather the suffering is worth it
the answers looked kind of like this:
A. No (insert reason here)
B. No (…)
C. Possibly (…)
D. Yes, he freed his soul
E. Yes, he achieved immortality

Anyone remember the answer?
