SAT lower than I was hoping :(

<p>I got a 1720 on my first SAT, I was expecting higher /:, if I take a class or get a tutor I'm hoping I'll do better. Is improvement typically seen after taking the test more than once or do scores stay relatively the same?</p>

<p>Definitely a 200+ increase is possible, but you have to work at it. 300+ is way more iffy. Make sure your colleges are aligned with your scores for the most part. Obviously, reaches excepted.</p>

<p>I got a 1760 on my first SAT. My last SAT was a 2080. My scores come out tomorrow but it looks like I’ll end up with 2150-2240. It’s definitely possible to improve your score substantially.</p>

<p>A 400 - 500 jump is the exception though. </p>
