I'm kinda getting frustrated with sat math. I'm not really accurate with calculations and i have a problem with thinking and analyzing. Each time i finish a section, i leave most questions blank and for questions i don't know while practicing, i always solved them after practice. I really don't want this to affect me in january. i want to know exactly what to do at the right time, how to finish up in time and how to answer all the questions. My last sat, i omitted 24 questions!. i can't go on like this! pls help!!

Do you need to brush up on concepts? Also, organization is key to minimizing careless mistakes.

First relax a bit. Then take 30 minutes and analyze at what level you are stuck in each of the 4 subject areas: number theory, algebra and functions, geometry, probability, statistics and data analysis.

For example if you’re getting all the level 2 number theory questions right, but most level 3 number theory questions wrong, then you are stuck at level 3 on number theory.

So today practice level 3 number theory problems. Mark off any you get wrong - you’ll try those again in 4 days.

Do the same thing for each of the four subjects. Do number theory today, algebra tomorrow, and so on. When you come back to number theory in 4 days redo all the ones you got wrong before doing any new ones. Stick with level 3 for at least 2 sessions (and maybe more). Then go up to Level 4. Do not try to go more than 2 levels away from where you currently are, and in fact 1 level higher is sufficient for a pretty big score jump.

Good luck!
