I was planning on taking either SAT Math 1 or 2 this June. I had a 680 in the SAT Math section, and i am currently taking IB Math SL in my school. I have a high A in the Math class too. Which SAT Math test would you recommend me to take? And What book should i consider to score a great score in the SAT Math Test.

Sorry, the book depends on what score you want to get, your knowledge, your time to study, etc.

If you are all or nothing, buy Barrons. If you are OK with a 700 - 750, buy PR

Thank you, guys for the Math 2 recommendations. and argentina. I am aiming for a 700 and above on the subject test and I am trying to take it in this June SATs. It would be great if you could recommend a book or any videos!! I heard the Dr. Chung’s Book is good but I thought it is only for the regular Math section of the SATs.

No it is for Math 2 also. I’m going through it right now. It’s very thorough. Go through all 57 tips and make sure you know them really well, and the practice tests become pretty easy. Good Luck!

Just get Dr. Chung’s. Barrons and Princeton Review are not nearly as good or as thorough

OH… ok, that looks good!! Do you recommend any other books, maybe? I also have a small doubt, I have a 480 and 400 in the writing and reading section what book or any other videos would help me bring up those scores?? I am currently taking the SAT 2400 course by Veritas, and I have the Black Book by Mike Barett. Thank you…

Just get the college board blue book and do every single practice test in the back. I promise you your scores will go up. There are 10 practice tests, and they are literally identical to the actual test. Unlike the other books, the blue book is made by College board. For example, barrons is 10 times harder than the actual test. Although this can be useful for extremely smart people, average students have trouble getting through it.

Oh ok, I see. I already have the blue book. I was just taking one of the tests and seemed easier than what I already have done in the January SAT. I am about to take this May sat. I am afraid I am a bit too late. But trying to concentrate on the Critical Reading and the Writing part. Thank You again for your time and help.
