SAT Math I or II?

<p>I'm applying to a bunch of different schools in the fall/winter, but Carnegie Mellon is one of my top choices. I'm going for a Psychology major with Neuroscience minor. CMU requires a math and another SATII for admission. I've always found math to be super easy until I took Honors Precalculus. I got a B in that (mid-range 80). I had a horrible student teacher most of the year, and I don't feel I got a decent background in Precalc. I'm taking Honors Calculus for my senior year.</p>

<p>I'm not sure if I am going to go to Med School or not. If so, it would be for Psychiatry.</p>

<p>Any ideas which SATII Math to take?</p>

<p>Math II, simply because its much easier to get a higher socre. I’ve heard numerous reports of getting a lower score on the Math I. Although, you do need a solid Precalc background (although I took it without it and managed a decent score (790) ).</p>

<p>For you I’d recommend getting a really good prep book and and brushing up on your Precalc. She must of taught you something. Although I’ve had bad experiences with student teachers and getting a B too…</p>
