Sat math ii help

I am in a huge panic right now because I decided rather late that I am going to do Math II instead of US hist in january. And I'm going through the Princeton Review book right now and it just seems like there are SO MANY EQUATIONS to memorize!!!

For all you guys out there who've come out with 800's, did you guys memorize all the equations? Or is it not important?? What's the best way to cram for this test?

I'm really not very strong at math! Also, I know the curve for Math II is generous ( -5 to -8 for 800) but how does it work after that? Is it like for every 5-8 raw score points you lose, you're down another 10 points?

THANKS !

I… don’t have any idea how you would go about cramming for the math II test. To do well in math, you have to UNDERSTAND it, not just memorize all the equations.

I agree with the person above me. It’s everything you’ve learned in math so far and applying that knowledge. If you understand the formulas and know how to use them, then yes… it is helpful to have them memorized because it will save you time… but most of the formulas are provided on the test and if it seems extremely stressful for you to memorize them, then I wouldn’t worry too much… but know the basic ones (know your trig, special triangles especially).
