Hey everyone~
So I’m taking the Math II, World History, and Chemistry subject tests in less than a week. I’m personally fine with Math II, but the other two are…interesting.
For chemistry: My scores on practice exams (I have a Princeton Review book that’s outdated) vary immensely. On one exam, I received a 690, while on the other, I received a 780…How do I gauge my knowledge on chemistry if my scores vary so much? I feel that the test that I received a 780 on was easier than the other practice exams, but since I don’t have the official cb book, I don’t know if it’s similar or much easier than the actual thing.
For world history: Since I have already taken AP World History (and I assume that I did well on the AP exam), I didn’t really study for this test. However, I’ve been looking at practice tests and they seem ridiculously detailed. I love world history, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the time to study for this subject, as it would take away time from the other subjects which apply more to my strengths. I was also wondering if I take all three of the tests on one day, will I be able to pick which ones I send to colleges? I am predicting that I will do well in Math II, decently in Chemistry, and horribly in World History (worst case scenario), but this is the only time that I can take WH without absolutely failing as I have just completed a corresponding course and will forget everything the next time it is offered. Will I be able to pick Math II and Chemistry separately for college apps, or will I have to send all of the tests that I took that specific day?
Thank you so much!
