i don't know, but I thought it was a legitimately tough test overall. Towards the beginning, of course, it really wasn't THAT bad, but then towards the middle of it the whole f(g)x=1+3(g) like crazy stuff like that was mind-boggling. I couldn't even comprehend it. Anyone with me?

P.S. Anyone actually take this, think they absolutely bombed it, but got a 650+?

umm, with that one i believe the answer was 0 cause it was like f(3), which made on equation 0, and anything times 0 is 0. Also, do u remember the one with the water tank and what 3 represented. whhat about the one with the student trying to count the averages for his grade??

yeah!! i know the water tank one; i said the "3" was the pump or something, it couldn't be time, it couldn't be minutes...or gallons...i didn't think

for the grade one (which confused me), i said the mean he might want to know...then again I MAY be wrong lol

if u said 3 was the number of pumps, im extremely happy...that is what i put.

the grade one was definitely very weird because i am convinced he had all the info, didnt they say he already had the mean height?? well, i kinda guessed and i said he would want to have all the people whose heights were under the average...that could be wrong.

what about the one with the perpendicular line and the coordinate for the new line? are we allowed to be posting now cause I dont want to get into any trouble?

could someone else confirm ithese answers so that it is not just the two of us.

haha don't worry, college confid. has been gossiping like this for YEARS...collegeboard people have no idea lol :D. But, yeah, the perpendicular one i think and believe i put the coordinates were (3, 4)

the tank one was just the interpretation of slope --> 3 =m of y =mx + b

brilliant, it is funny how one or two questions can change how you think about a test. do u remember one where it had like the I,II,III and u had to say which ones were correct? i know that is very vague, but the question included option III which was like >or equal to 3. remember the answer?

matty, was the tank one the number of pumps?

it was three gallons per unit of time

I don't seem to remember that one :*( Then again, I don't even remember my name sometimes, so yeah. I really don't know; this is a really weird time b/c everybody is in the stage where anything could happen: we could get anywehre from a 200 to an 800, most of us falling in the middle, like 500 600...few get a 700+ on math level 1..it's just so harsh of a curve, and i'm terrified to find out what i got, considering i omitted 5 >:O

do any of u remember the one with one option of >3, does matty7589 agree with (3,4)? what about the one with the kid and the average heights?

lol
i omitted zero

(3,4) yes
the kid w. ave heights needed to know the ave heights of the students who were not freshman

various questions:

the one with the average heights?
the perpendicular line coordinates?
the slope of the line with the 42 degree angle?
literally like the last one with the quadratic function to the power of another function, how many times did it equal 0?

for the average height one, was there an option that said the number of kids below the mean height? do u remember any other questions, i wanna see how i did on this.

quad function - 4
slope w. 42 deg -- choose a base triangle value, solve for the height using trig, and do height aka rise / base aka run

did u get a slope of .9, so u said there were 4 answers.. r u sure, i said 2 and i graphed it.

there was another question with like, two inequalities that were related to 1. it asked for wen they were both less than 1. What was the answer to that and i have a simple one, the one with m and y and it asked for the value of y i believe. it was 0 right? that question had to equations, twas a system of equations.

That was one of the Q's that I omitted ... idk, maybe we'll all just luck out and get 750+'s (who knows with all the range of answers everyone's giving!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol) We should all wait until our scores come out and see who got the higher score; then, we could tell who to trust more (ok i'm mean i'm just joking)
