Hi all, I’m taking the Math level 2 subject test in June, and I’m taking Algebra 2 (Algebra 3-4) right now. There are still some concepts we haven’t learned yet, like logs. Should I still self-study and take the test this year, or wait until next year after/during when I take precalculus?
Hmmm – my son is taking it this year - just finishing precal now.

I hope this helps you make a decision. Not sure what grade you are i
n - if colleges you are intersted in want it, try to take it by Oct. of your senior year. Good luck!
Pretty sure conventional wisdom is Math II is for after PreCal. What year of HS are you in? You can always take Math I.
I’d say wait until you take Pre-Calc. There’s a good amount of trig stuff on the test, and other topics that you’ll usually learn in pre-calc.
I strongly recommend you take the pre-calc class THEN level 2. I agree with @swim1128
