QR is the arc of a circle with center P. The angle QRP is 30 degrees. If the lenght of QR is 6π what is the area of PQR.
The correct answer is 108π.
Could you please explain to me how the problem is solved?

30 degrees represents 1/12 of the circle (there are 360 degrees in a circle and 360/30 = 12). So the circumference of the circle is 12(6π) = 72π. So the radius of the circle is 36, and therefore the area of the circle is π(36)^2 = 1296π. Now we simply divide by 12 to get the area of the sector: 1296π/12 = 108π.

So the angle QPR=30 not QRP. That may be the reason you did not get the correct answer.
