So I have been hearing how people use programs and whatnot for the SAT using calculators that are acceptable.

I am wondering how to make one's own program or find a good program that already have all the content that is covered on the SAT, on it.

EDIT:Nevermind.I shouldn't resort to something like this.

Technically this is against the rules and a proctor is allowed to clear your calculator before the test begins. Also, if you are decently prepared, then using these programs will only slow you down and ultimately hurt your score.

Some of them can actually speed up even the extremely mathematically inclined student, though. For instance, simply typing in (0,6) and (5,7) on your calculator and having it calculate the distance is quicker than actually using the formula.

I actually researched and saw many that done it…In fact it’s not against the rules. All the rules, according to CB, only finds it unacceptable if it’s on a calculator that is not under the approved list. On calculators like the TI-84, it is capable of having programs.

And from those that I heard that used programs…even people I know that are in AP math, really good at math,

They say they know how to do math yes, but with the SAT and restricting times, for some they have no time to approach and do process they usually do in a class setting.

I’ve seen many increase their points quite a lot.

Of course,I will have myself prepared for questions I know I am capable of.

Though there are some I have problems with because:

1) I can recall that during time period that it was introduced to me, I was more focused on trying to survive from the severe bullying and just making it to the end of the day.How I passed back then was pure luck.

2) I had SOME teachers that did not teach well. They only touch on topic for a day very briefly and then we are on to the next topic , with no time to memorize or get comfortable with material.

I guess it’s just me being nervous in taking the SAT for the first time…I really want to score high…It’s just overwhelming to me that this is happening.
