SAT Math Question. (Area of a triangle with constraints)

Triangle ABC is to be drawn so that the length of side AC is greater than 3 and less than 5. If the length of the perpendicular drawn from point B to side AC is less than 8, which of the following CANNOT be the area of the triangle?

A 8
B 10
C 16
D 18
E 36

I'm having a hard time on this question. Can someone figure it out and explain it?
Thank you. :)

its E. Its because the maximum lengths of the side are 4.99999999=5 and 7.999999999=8

(1/2)(5)(8)=20, which is the max area. 36 is more than that.

Ehh. Sometimes I just feel so stupid…

Thank you McAwesome. :D
