(2+5)y=4-2+13
7y=15
y=2.14</p>

<p>since it is a right triangle you can use
a^2+b^2=c^2 so
8^2=(5+x)^2+(5-x)^2
64=(25+x^2)+(25+x^2)
64=50+2x^2
14=2x^2
7=x^2
therefore 25+x^2 = 32</p>
