SAT MATH QUESTION (MARCH) 1.1 or 1.10??

Hey guys.. so the march SAT passed and I know that one of the open-ended questions had an answer of $1.10. Is it okay if I gridded in 1.1???? or does it HAVE to be 1.10????

PLEASEE RESPONDDD I THINK I GOT EVERYthiNG ELSE RIGHTTT AND IM FREAKING OUTTT

thanks!

1.1 is fine, dont worry.

1.1 and 1.10 are the same number.

That would be the absolute most meanest thing for the College Board to ever do. Don’t worry about it, i put the same thing

i put 1.1 too, i’m sure that a very large percentage of people who got 1.10 put 1.1, they won’t count it wrong

It gave a specific example like “if you get $4.60, grid in 4.60,” but I doubt they’ll be that mean. It’s the same number.

It’s just one wrong. Don’t stress out, you’ll still get a 760 ;)

Sue their asses if they mark it wrong.

Maybe an official response from College Board will make you feel better :)

“For any question in the grid-in section, all numerical responses equivalent to the correct answer would be scored as correct. In the example you gave, if the correct answer is $1.50, both 1.50, and 1.5 would be scored as correct. In addition, 3/2 or any equivalent fraction would also be scored as correct.”

Phew! Thanks guys!!

If they mark it wrong, I will most definitely “sue their asses” lol.

Btw, does anyone remember which number question that was?

Haha, I was freaking out too, so I emailed College Board just to make sure. And according to the compilation thread, it was question #16.
