I am currently in AP Calculus and on Wednesday I will take the SAT through my school since it is free SAT School day test. I intend to major in Computer Science but want to know if there is a required SAT Math score to be able to major in it. I took a practice test and only got a 490 on the Math portion. I am very good at Math but the way the questions are phrased makes it harder than it should be.

if ur in ap calc, then it should be pretty easy to do the problems, are u sure it was a legit practice test from CB?

Yeah it was the one on the college board website that gives you a score. But I didn’t do all of them I only did about 25 questions.

You should try to score above 700 if you’re serious in majoring in Computer Science.

I have heard that colleges look for a minimum 650 Math SAT score for those applicants who want a STEM major, but nothing is set in stone.
