SAT math score for engineering?

<p>I am wondering how will the SAT math score impact engineering acceptances i got a 650 on math, but i intend to take the SAT 2 and i am sure i can break 700+ so would a strong SAT 2 math compensate?</p>

<p>Depends on your other stats and where you want to apply to obviously.</p>

<p>For the record, I received a 33 on the ACT math, 670 SAT, and 740 Math 2.</p>

<p>Got into most of the UCs, Purdue, GT, and UTAustin. So yeah, your other stats are important.</p>

<p>Math scores are definitely going to be important</p>

<p>I had:
SAT- 740
SAT2- 710 (level 2)
ACT- 34</p>

<p>And got into Boston U, USC, Northeastern, WPI, Univ of the Pacific, UC Davis, Cal Poly.
Rejected from UCSD and Stanford</p>

<p>…and got into ERAU, PSU-main, University at Buffalo, University of Colorado-Boulder</p>

<p>…and rejected from Purdue.</p>
