Hello fellow CCers,
i have been on the forum for a while and glad to post my first thread today. However, my first thread is a question. I am wondering if studying SAT II math level 2 efficiently cover all the topics in SAT I math?

Background info: i got 670 in math when i first try and i am taking AP BC calculus right now.

SAT II math tests more of your knowledge than ability. You better raise your SAT math first.

i see, so by studying SAT II math level 2 won’t necessarily raise my SAT math score?

^Yup. There will be problems on the SAT Reasoning math section that you will not encounter in your Math 2 studies. There’s more of a focus on analytical ability than there is on sheer mathematical ability.

thank you, do you think Gruber’s math is sufficient to prep me for an 800?

It is better than any other math prep books or programs I know of. However, it is not efficient because a lot of problems are not necessary for the SAT. You will not see those on the official tests. It is also not sufficient because many of the solutions are the not the fastest way to get the answers.

thanks alot easiermath. In your opinion, what do you think best suits for preparation in SAT math?

Everyone has different best suits.

You got 670 because you could not do the last few problems in each section or you could do it if you have more time?

Did you make mistakes on the easy problems?

Did you check your answers or did you have the time to check your answers?

thanks for reply again.
