Hi there,

No one is probably going to help you. It seems like most people only take Math Level 2…

I need some guides on Level 1 also. I’ve been reading the SparkNotes guide, reviewing my math text book, and etc, but I want to get a book.

I was thinking Barron’s or Princeton Review, but I just don’t know. (The revised version of the CollegeBoard Subject Test Math good looks good too.)

Really? i suppose it’s for majors concerning science. but i’m not going for science, and i thought i can put some 'colour" in my application.
I’m using Barron’s now and i am satisfied with it for now. But I’m thinking of getting the exam with the first shot and i didn’t want to find a negative answer to how good the Barron’s is on the test date ( too late, ah!).

Well then, good luck with your maths.

I took math level 1. Before I took the exam I lightly skimmed through the sparknotes review. Its not that it was bad,but I had really wanted a barrons and b&n didn’t have it when I went. With about 2 hours over 2 weeks (:/) of studying I got a 690.

As I mentioned earlier, I would suggest the Princeton Review book for Math(I/II), Chemistry, and Physics. I am not sure about PR’s book in other subjects.
The Math I has a very harsh curve and I really don’t think that would be a really good idea; you better take the Math II because it has a pretty generous curve.

About 80,000 students in the class of 2010 took Level 1, not exactly a small number, although about twice as many took Level 2.

Well, I thought it was kind of unpopular because most people on these forums only talk about Math II.

I guess it’s Barron’s or PR then.

EDIT:Sorry to ask on another person’s post, but do any of you guys think the Barron’s Math Level 2 book is going to help me on Math I also? It seems that I have to wait weeks for the level 1 to come, but I could get the level 2 book in a day.
