[Amazon.com: The Official SAT Subject Tests in Mathematics Levels 1 & 2 Study Guide (9780874477726): The College Board: Books](http://www.amazon.com/Official-Subject-Tests-Mathematics-Levels/dp/0874477727/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1370294177&sr=8-3&keywords=sat+subject+test+math)

Those two are pretty much the only books I used. I can’t say what I got since I haven’t got my test scores back but I’m looking at a 790/800.

The Barron book is really hard but it prepares you very well. The highest I ever gotten from a Barron test is like a 720 and that took me 2 hours(lol). So I wouldn’t care too much about timing. But for the 2 tests in that book you should definitely time yourself. It’s much closer to real test’s difficulty. I got 800 on both of them timed conditions. I used Barron’s first. (The review and the 6 tests). Then moved on to the 2 in Collegeboard’s book. This way the real test should be a breeze.

For the calculator, you should just get the cheapest graphing calculator. Graphing calculators aren’t significantly better than scientific calculators but they do help you on certain questions.

The calculator I used was a Ti-83. If you don’t have any graphing calculator you should ask one of your teacher if you can borrow one for the test. However though, make sure you familiarize yourself with the calculator before the test day.

Use Barrons only if u have high self esteem.
I have a very high self esteem but after taking some of the practice tests and getting 700s on tests totally messed up my self esteem. I even wanted to ditch the test.
However, after comparing with other people’s answers, I believe that I will receive a score of 780 or 790.
Moral of the story, use Barrons but at your own risk.
