SAT May 2009 Curve

What do you guys think the SAT curve will be like this time? I feel like this time the SAT wasn't as hard as it could've been (compared to some Blue Book problems), so maybe the curve won't be as beneficial to those who missed just one or two per section? What do you guys think?

Especially for the math and critical reading sections?

math -1 = 770
CR -4 = 800
W -6 12 essay = 800

I can dream, right? :stuck_out_tongue:

but seriously, the W and CR were brutal.

I thought CR was harder than the March one. Math and Writing didn’t seem too difficult.

I thought the math one was easier than some of my practice tests.

Writing seemed normal, i think i got a lot wrong there, but the CR was the worst. I did not get to answer at least 10 of the questions cuz i ran out of time, and i did not even get to start the chemistry one

math-1=780
CR-8=700
W-2 12 essay = 800

hopefully…
why do I suck so bad on CR?

wow -8 and a 700 that is a harsh curve…(i think this is my first SAT)

I thought math will have a normal curve, and was not that bad…March was prolly harder…

CR I thought was pretty difficult…I got all the SC correct on March but this time there were some harder ones like the platitudinous one and the expurgate question…Also thought the celebrities passage and the archaelogy passage were challenging…expecting a rather lenient curve here…

Writing- I thought it was around average for a writing section…again, nothing outside of the norm.

People always expect a lenient CR curve…

Writing should be harsh curve.

CR average curve.

Math, average-harsh curve.

That’s just my guess as it is the 3rd i’ve taken

THE CR better have a good curve because I got raped!!
haha but seriouslyyyy it was soo much harder than the March one, and I did kinda bad on the March one. T_T

bleh I hate the Critical Reading Section the most!!

I wanted a super easy CR section, a super hard math section, and an average writing section. Only got the last one…

I think the writing section wasn’t that bad really. The critical reading was okay, EXCEPT for the celebrity one where I was like oSHDUHSDFUISHDF. Math was good, except for one or two grid ins.

Felt like I got :

M -4/5
W -1/2
CR -2/3

Eh.

what? what do those fractions meen?

If its the same for internationals, then im ****ed. My favourite critical reading section turned out to be experimental… NOOOOOOOOO!!!

I hope that CR section with 3or4 passages was experimental, but i do not think so because there was only one of them.

what? what do those fractions meen?

Around x or y wrong.

Ex. -4/5 would be around 4 or 5 wrong.

man i really hope the math curve isnt that bad… did yall think the March math SAT was hard? My friend got a 720 on it and said it was easy.

i felt the reading was pretty brutal this time around… the math was easy (i always have trouble with geometry problems) and the writing i always do well on, that was easy.
some of the questions for the reading had two right answers?!??! sometimes?

@ ansar " okay i see now.

i left one grid in blank, it was the quadratics one. think i
