SAT May 2009 Curve

I thought CR in March was easy and the curve was justified. This time around though, it felt a lot harder. More lenient curve, maybe?

thnx alot 112358!! i just want a 700 in math cuz i know my reading is never gonna improve =l

Hopefully I got a 2150…please please please, looks to the sky and prays

@ 112358 - I don’t think that’s too reliable. Bro took his in October - for Math he skipped 2 and got 2 wrong and he got a 720. And on that chart, if you got what is it…7 wrong, that is around a 700 (on average). I only wish that chart was true.

On the chart, 4 wrong is a 720, so I don’t see the discrepancy between the chart and your brother’s score. The chart is composed of real CB curves, so it can’t really be wrong.

My first writing section was tough. CR was fine except I totally lost focus on celebrities, but probably still got all or almost all. Math was on the easy side. I don’t know how to predict a curve.

I thought writing and math were pretty normal, but the CR was tougher than usual. Hoping for a big CR curve!

What is -4ish on CR this time around? Or -2? Because I go at least 2 wrong, probably 3, possibly 4.
-2ish and 8 on essay on W?
-6, omit 9ish on M?

Some of those CR questions were ridiculous. Especially the chemistry/roommate one. A couple of those questions had no definite answer, I think.

-1 Math should be 790 again.

-1 Math was 790 for March and the March takers usually have a bigger mastery than the general May takers.

This was my first time taking the SAT, I omitted 8 on the math portion (horrible I know!!!), but I’m pretty sure of all my other asnwers…what will i get? 650?

i remember i left 14 blanks in total for CR… not to mention 10 or 15 more wrong (i guess)… what can i get with that *****?

520ish. 10char.

I think it’s possible I got all the writing right. But my essay was in the 6-8 range. Can I get a 770+?

How many math questions can I miss for 770?

maths 770 i think you can only afford 2.

yea if i get 68 -70 for writing multiple-choice and a 8 for essay,
what can i get? can i reach 700?

Millancad: 770 is right between -1 and -2. With a harsh curve, it will be -1; with a lenient curve, -2.

What’s 10char?

It means 10 charizard obviously.

ahahahahahahaha^^^^^

@Badigdawg: Thanks…it all makes sense now.
:D

Nah, seriously. What does it mean?
