SAT May 2009 Math

crappers 10 char

yes ricky, it was MC

wait, wasnt the triangle one asking which one is NOT true?

either way can someone explain it?

I just realized the sphere problem isn’t on the list… the answer is 6, right? The longest distance was the diameter. It couldn’t have been asking for the distance along the surface, correct?

^^i didnt know what a sphere was so i just put a random answer,which was 5 T^T

^ they give you the sphere info as well as a lot of other info at the beginning of every math section…

and i got 6 for the sphere one as well.

not to mention they told you right next to the problem that v=4/3 pi r^3

Does anyone have this sinking feeling that they messed up somehow even though they have all the answers on the list? For some reason I do…

^ YESSS. I am pretty worried that i might have not filled in the bubbles on the grid-ins and just wrote the answers in the boxes or filled in the wrong bubbles…

sooo nerve wrecking!

btw, i just remembered a random q: it was like which of the choices will be 2,000 when rounded up? and i said 1760 i think…

For some reason I have this really strong feeling that I was one digit off on one of the grid-ins.

Maybe I’m just paranoid about the whole thing because I thought I only had two wrong in March but wound up with more than that.

Okay, about the sphere problem…I don’t think it’s 6 since 6 is the diameter of the sphere and they are asking for the longest distance which should be the arc length. This makes 2pir/2 which is 3pi and that makes 9.14.

does anybody remember the answers to the last three in the section with the quadratic problem?

the letters, not the actual answers. im paranoid i filled em in wrong bc i had a little mix up.

ok guys i dont remember the question reading “on the surface of the sphere” …maybe i dint bother much with it-i miss out stuff quite often like this…but i’m dead sure it sadi line segment n an arc can NEVER be called a line segment…so i guess 6 as the diameter is the right answer

also i need one of u to tell me wht the calc eng quest was exactly…was the right answer the one subject present in no other answer choice?..was the right one the middle one of the 5 choices?

@ NJSterling - I think they were: A-1 B-8 C-12 D-18 E-32

the logic question was calculus on wednesday. i think it was the middle of the 5 choices but i dont remember that for sure

It was B. Calculus on wednesday! I’m sure.

does anyone remember if 5 was a multiple choice answer possibility for the wire question?

i cant remember ne fuel milage quest rite now :S

was there another option with calculus?
i’m pretty sure my answer was rite but i cant remember…it wasn’t the first or the last…n i think ther wasn’t aother of the same subject or there wasnt another on the same day :S

what were the two questions preceding the quadratic question?

choice A for the quadratic equation #20 was 2
