2160! It was my first sitting and this was definitely at the higher end of my predictions. 760 CR, 600 M, and 800 W (10 essay). Of course the math’s lower than I’d like it to be, but I was predicting it to be in the 550-650 range, so I’m relieved it landed in the middle rather than in the 500s.

I got EXACTLY what I solved!! With my OCD, Tension, and NOT taking any SATs for A LONG TIME, I think I did WELL!!

2190 760 CR, 740 Math, 690 writing ->FUUUUU

Still, one one week’s prep- and I really didn’t start prepping until Thursday, I think I did reasonably well. I zoned out a bit on the last section, so…eh.

I’m hoping that with a few months to prepare, I’ll be able to raise my scores by a couple hundred points

Congrats to everyone for writing that exhausting exam and best of luck to you in the future!

How do you guys check your essay score?

2120…I was hoping for 2250+ but I knew that I screwed up on math and only has one weeks prep. I was expecting 2100-2200 so this isn’t really a surprise.
630 M (I always do worse on math but I KNOW i can raise it to 700+ by next fall)
720 CR (meh)
770 Writing
I’m taking it again next year depending on how well I do on the ACT. Congratulations to everyone who happy with his or her scores!

october 700 reading 670 math 770 writing (10 essay).
may 760 reading 790 math 790 writing (11 essay).
may october 2140 → may 2340. I am literally crying.
I spent so much time doing SAT work–it’s paid off.

December (2180) → May (2280). Super score of 2290. Pretty happy, esp. with my math score! Vocab screwed me for CR.

May 5, 2012 SAT Test

@supine what did you do to raise your score? Classes? Practice tests? I have all summer to raise my score and am going for a similar increase. I’d be happy with a 150+ increase. What would you recommend? Congrats on you scores!

Please can someone explain step by step how to check the May SAT online.
I have a collegeboard account, but I did the paper registration.
Sent from my GT-S5570 using CC

Its my first time I got 1,600 lol, can someone please tell me if that is AT LEAST better than the average score?

First time: math-660, reading-690, writing-710 (MC-78/80, essay-6) total-2060. no clue how my essay was that low…haha oh well, better luck in October.

CR 650 Math 740 W 700. Got 2090 first sitting. I really want 800 math ahhhh. Could anyone tell me where to look at essay score ? Thank guys!

It gives you your mc and essay scores on low. Right below your scaled score

If you’re GPA’s are good, but your SATs are not ‘outstanding’ it really doesn’t matter.
You would still get into most schools. Since this is your first time, congratulations and welcome to the club. You took one of the most exhaustive examinations cold and you came out above average… Kudos…!

CAN ANYBODY EXPLAIN HOW THEY GOT THEIR SCORES…
I DIDN’T REGISTER FOR THE SAT ONLINE
I HAVE MY REGISTRATION NUMBER.
Please help me OUT…

I got a 2290 overall - but my M+CR is 1490. (750 CR, 740 M, 800 W)

that’s not a problem is it? my cr is usually 800. blerg.

590 Reading

670 Writing
Total-1890
That’s my final score. 10 points away from 1900…

Some of you guys are just crazy, haha.

First time taking it and I got: 710 reading, 660 math, and 740 writing with an 11 essay total 2110! higher than I’ve ever scored on any practice tests.

I’m happy but I wish I could raise my math score a bit. Hopefully June will be good to me :)

Hahaha!!! Gratz everybody!! This was my first sitting and I got:

Reading: 720
Math: 760
Writing 740

For a total of 2220
Should i take this thing again??? I’m in my sophomore year
but i want to use the time to study up some AP courses
is this score Ivey worthy?

This was my first time taking it:
Reading: 540
Math: 530
Writing: 590 (Essay: 9)
I’m REALLY surprised by how low it is… on all my practice tests, I usually had a 600 M, 600+ CR, and 650 W. I’m hoping there was an error in something. I’m happy with my essay, though. I was aiming for an 8.
