SAT May 2012 score are up!!!

800 R, 730 W, 640 M (eww ***.)

So another 2170, although my superscore is 2210. I really really really want to get Math over a 700, so I’ll probably take it again in October. (On the plus side, I got an 800 both times for Reading. It makes me feel a little better. I can read, guys! :P)

First time taking it.
Math 760
Writing 650 (9 on the Essay)
Reading 530
Total of 1940

Overall I’m pretty happy about my score. My reading does need improvement but honestly this has always been my weak point.

I got a 690 CR, 640 M, 450 W =\ , do colleges look at the writing score that much??

2180, (690 CR 760 M 730 WR)
2190 superscore.

I’m kind of disappointed. Do I have a shot at an Ivy if I am top 1% of my graduating class with really good extracurriculars?

Definitely.

1980- 610 CR, 690 M, 680 W
probably going to retake it!

First time taking it, got a 1920 - 640’s across the board!
I’m very happy, especially because I didn’t invest any time/$$$ in prep work, I just signed up, went in on the 5th, and did my best. Not planning on re-taking.

CR-800 M-760 W-590

The writing was a disaster. I’m a very good writer but I can’t do it at all under pressure. I’m disappointed because I doubt my math and reading will be that good next time, but I definitely need a better writing score.

2100
CR- 680 M- 720 W- 700 (10)

Terribly below my expectation of 2250…
Good thing this was my first REAL SAT though!

Never trust the scores you get on practice tests guys!

Guys. I got a 2350. Somebody give me a virtual high five.

HIGH FIVE!!!

What was the breakdown?

Ahaha thanks man. It was 760 CR, 790 M, 800 W (78, 10 essay), but I got my 800 in math in march so i’m pretty pumped

Is anyone else kind of surprised that 1 wrong and a 10 essay was an 800 W? In March 1 wrong and a 12 gave you a 790

Correction: In March, 2 wrong and a 12 gave you a 790. I got a 790.

I got 760 R, 800 M, 800 W third time taking. Finally broke 2350!

Ahh! 2270! Never studied and only my second time! I think My heart skipped a beat or two when I saw the scores!

My last sat (jan) was 2090 (680cr 720m 690 10 essay w) and this one was 2270 (750 cr 760m 760w 11 essay!)

Never taking sats again! Woohoo! Oh wait… Subject tests are in less than two weeks… Haha time to start studying!

First time, and got a 2230! 780 CR, 740 Math, 710 writing w/ 9 essay. Studied hard for a couple of days before the exam and I have no idea how I was able to pull off the CR score. I’m taking the June one too, hopefully with me studying more I’ll be able to crack 2300.

Got 2030 and very proud of myself. 660 CR, 680 Math and 690 Writing (11/63). I’m pretty even across the board but I want to improve my scores to about 700 apiece. :)

I got a 2270 as well… so I suppose I could take them a 3rd time and try to do better, but it doesn’t really matter. I’m fine with the 2270. 790 math (I think it was the omit 1), 750 CR and 730 W (10 essay). I really just wanted to pass 700 for writing, so I’m ecstatic. I didn’t break 700 on either the PSAT or my last SATs.

dcsnow, high five! I got the exact same breakdown as you, but with CR and math switched. (Yeah, math is my lowest - seems odd to me too, as I’m supposedly two years above my grade level… well, c’est la vie.) I’m well pleased and am not even considering taking it again.

Question - I can’t see my individual score breakdown, so I have no idea what I got on my essay or MC or anything. Is there something else I have to do to see that?

stupiddorkyidiot, it should be right below your score for the writing. The multiple choice is a number from 2?-80 and the essay is out of 12.
