was number 20 in one of the math sections (not sure if it was the experimental one) D?
It was a scatter plot and you had to find the median for height and volume.

pretty sure thats an experimental i didnt have it on my test

MATH curve will be fine i guess writing not so sure

lol im pretty sure i got full marks on math so the curve wont matter for me :
Hoping for a good CR curve seems like at least 2 wrong for me now

Wouldn’t the answer for that vocab question be “revival” because the style of previous movies is being brought back? :/

Also, what did you guys get for the vocab question involving the person who stood up and had a ___ argument that even his most vehement critics couldn’t argue against?

& that one reading question about biographers was kind of hard… the one comparing the two passages? (passage 1 ___ while passage 2 ____) What was the answer for that?

I totally screwed up and simply don’t care any more. Those vocab questions repel me, and math was the only soothing pill since I am an ASIAN. OTL

@naoxox… i put evocative. I’m still unsure evocative or pivotal is correct answer. What is your answer?

I put evocative too and was also deciding between that and topical

@naoxox
Its not revival because the question said something like:
" interest of elizabethan age blahblah led to a ____ of NEW movies"
you cant revive something new.

and for the critic one, I believe the answer was actually “innocuous,” since thats the only word that means “mild”. If it were evocative then the critics would bite.

The Math section was from October 2008 solved it many times but always forgetting that trapezoid question. Does anybody know about the math curve?

did you guys get 120 degrees for one of your gridins?

I chose innocuous for the critic one
I had to leave one vocabulary question blank. It was with words traverse, placate, slight… the sentence was about how it is useless to make concessions with some group… does anyone remember?

So our test was of June 2007 US and and June 2010 Internationals.

What essay prompts did you have?

also I answered that trapezoid question with 10 .does any body remember ?
please share your thoughts

Trapezoid question was 18 because the two upper angels were 100 and 100 that 360 - 200 which is 160 … 160/2 is 80 now you have the angels of the isosceles triangles which are 80 80 20 … 360/20 will give you an 18
100& sure

^Hes right. I remember explaining this earlier in the thread…

Edit: I’m sure its innocuous

can anyone please answer my CR questions?? for the biographer short passages…the 1st question was the difference between the 2 passages…was it biographer’s craft/novelist’s craft (D) or subset (E)???

Also…does anyone rmb the tone for the motorcycle one…is it disdainful or defiant?

Thanks!

The guy views T.V with disdain.
I put D for that question
