Sat. morning parking

Any suggestions for where to park Sat. morning given it's parents weekend compounding the usual football game parking. It appears the shuttle from the Civic Center doesn't start running until 2 hours before the game and the tailgate brunch starts at 8am. Can one walk from the Civic Center? Would that still be the best bet for parkings?

Walking from the CC to Doak is certainly plausible as long as you are able to walk that far. There are many small lots in and around campus, but such an option may cost you $10-$20 to park.

Probably the easiest way to park is to join the [Seminoles Boosters](http://seminole-boosters.fsu.edu/Community/Page.aspx?pid=520&srcid=223) and buy season tickets. Otherwise you are left to your own devices and chance.

We walk from the Marriott (you can see it from the civic center parking lot) to the stadium or campus all the time. There is an FSU parking garage that is $7 a day (I think) on game days that is one block or so closer to campus than the civic center. It is newer. It is just behind the new FSU conference center. I posted a link on a thread about 1-2 weeks ago here on CC. It is on the corner of Copeland and St Augustine. Here is the rub. Leaving after the game, you will likely do better walking to that garage and then merging into traffic. The closer you park, the longer it takes to get off campus after a game. The parking garage near the Union will be full early that day with parents weekend. This garage will likely not be. You will get out sooner walking to this garage than you will parking closer than sitting in traffic leaving the game.
